第一部分：說明寫信目的

I would like to apply for (申請)admission to your college.

I hope to pursue my Master's degree in your university.

I would like to further my studies in… department of your university.

第二部分：展開申請原因

My major interests are…, and I understand your university has a good program in those fields.

I feel the need to study further in order to develop my potential in this field.

第三部分：期盼回復(fù)，表示感謝

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to your reply.

If my application could be taken into favorable consideration, I would be most grateful.

I hope you will kindly send me an application(申請單) form.

I would greatly appreciate receiving copies of the required application forms(申請表格) and any instructions(說明) you may be so kind to give me regarding my possible admission.

Enclosed(附上) are my score reports on all subjects and two recommendations(推薦信).
