6、abundant, plentiful這兩個(gè)形容詞都有“充足的”之意。

abundant[??b?nd?nt]a. (數(shù)量)充足的，常用于人、物產(chǎn)、資源、雨量等，含有“過(guò)多”之意。

Oil is inabundant supply in this country.這個(gè)石油供應(yīng)十分充裕。

plentiful[?plentiful] a.豐富的，充足的，常用于食物、收獲、財(cái)產(chǎn)等，不能用于時(shí)間、空間、思想等方面。

7、accent, tone, dialect這三個(gè)名詞意思相近，容易混淆。

10、accomplishment, attainment,achievement“成就”

accomplishment[??k?mpli?m?nt] n.成功，成就；才藝，修養(yǎng)。

Climbing thathigh mountain was an accomplishment for the hikers.對(duì)于登山運(yùn)動(dòng)員來(lái)說(shuō)，爬上了那座山就是成功。

Being able topaint well is just one of heraccomplishments. 畫畫得好只是她的許多才能之一。

attainment[??teinm?nt] n.指學(xué)識(shí)和造詣(常用作復(fù)數(shù))；達(dá)到，到達(dá)。
