The outstanding feature of science lies in its ability to create artificial, controllable things. Science and engineering has made us able to live in an environment today in which we live partly humanized. In such a world, we can have countless bridges, cars, planes, antibodies and gene mutations. We'll probably build a more and more artificial and therefore ever-increasingly knowable future world.

There exist two constraints which limit the growth of man's predictability. First of all, with the increase of the size and complexity of the things science has ever devised, things science has ever built up will be becoming more and more unpredictable. The large-sized softwares will be developed into something whose natural substances may have the complexities which some natural characteristics.
